This hands-on history field trip is best for ages 5 -12. Come learn about the history of the house and pioneers, the Kalapuya people who have lived here since time immemorial, and the fur trappers that lived in the Willamette Valley. We will have three groups that rotate every 30 minutes and explore different parts of history inside the house. Each group will get to touch and explore items from history and participate in hands on learning. Taught by Singing Creek Educational Center staff (and SMJ House staff) this field trip is perfect for homeschoolers and will work for varying ages. Please have a parent or guardian with you children at all times.
