Join us at noon on Saturday, June 19th for a guided caravan tour of Opal Whiteley’s life and places– with Steve Williamson, a local expert on Opal Whiteley. Steve has done lots of research on her and our local history. See the Opal memorial website here to learn more about this famous pioneer girl.
Join our Opal Caravan for a fun drive and walking tour of places where Opal Whiteley lived and wrote about. You will also get to see sites where famous movies like Animal House, The General and Stand By Me were filmed. Find great places to hike or bike along the beautiful Row River Trail. The Caravan will last at least an hour.
