Lewis and Clark: Explorers!

Monday – Friday, Aug 6 – 10, 2018

9am to 3pm

Fun all day long on the farm for boys and girls aged 6-10 years. Older children can be camp helpers- only one per camp.

This brand new camp will feature lots of outside time, learning about Lewis and Clark and the Corp of Discovery, creating crafts, exploring, learning about the native peoples of Oregon and more. We will have costumed interpreters come to camp and share their stories and lessons with us.

See a video of kids in our homeschool during a Lewis and Clark learning session. This is at free time after a day of learning about Lewis and Clark. We set up a trading scenario and let the kids break into teams to trade goods like rolls of wire, tin bowls, powder horns, flint and steel, nuts, furs, necklaces and more.
