Join us for a fun day learning all about birds. This class is open to all ages but is best for kids 8 years old and up.

Our instructor, Kathy Lamberg, will show a slideshow all about our local birds, and we will discuss what they might be doing this time of year. (I’ll give you a hint…think eggs.)
We will hear some recorded bird calls to help us better identify the calls on the farm. Then we will go on a walk around the beautiful farm and down to the creek and pond where we typically have many water birds and song birds. Often we see raptors as well!

We will have some binoculars on loan for you to use, or you can bring your own!

Then we will go back to the granary and make a wooden birdhouse to take home. Bring your own hammer to make this part go faster!

Cost: $8 each person participating (small children and babies are free.)
